Begin Budokon Yoga
July 10, 2018This yoga immersion course is aimed at new yoga teachers that feel they need more experience.
Most contact hours are spent practicing to teach. This is a practical course aimed at developing Teachers’ skills. During Yoga Lab classes teachers will practice to teach with feedback, working on improving the way you deliver and hold space during a yoga class.
Many hours are spent practicing yoga together as a group. Practice different styles of yoga; different postures and techniques to develop different muscle fibers and stay injury free. Work on the postures and transitions you find challenging. Learn how to use props such as blocks, straps, bolsters and the yoga wheel.
The remainder of the hours are spent on Yoga Anatomy in Action. Practicing to observe students’ base of support, pathway of weight, center of gravity and learning to adjust and assist accordingly. You will no longer have to struggle with those difficult Yoga Anatomy terms!
This course is facilitated by Izelle and Malcolm Nair. On completion of this course you qualify for the hours required to further your yoga education, as per the Yoga Alliance. You will receive a certificate on completion.
