Izelle Steenkamp – Co owner of Earth Yoga Studio
“I fell in love with practicing yoga in 2006. I was amazed at how good the practice made me feel. Through my yoga practice I became more aware of my thought patterns, and learnt to let go of the ones that do not serve me, as well as build more positive thought patterns that do. Soon everything around me changed, every moment became extraordinary.
I have a zest for life. I bring this energy to my teachings; helping students discover their peace, love and joy in every moment. I combine creative sequencing with playfulness and yoga philosophy, whilst focusing on each individual and their needs. I teach an integral style of yoga, combining Bhakti (devotional) and Jnanu (scripture) with vinyasa flow yoga. I completed my teacher training with Living Yoga in 2011. Sarah Bents and Cherryl Duncan are inspiring teachers and yogini’s, encouraging holy beings everywhere to live yoga every moment. I also spent some time in Bali at the Radiantly Alive yoga studio with teachers such as Raghunath, and Daniel Aaron.
I teamed up with the love of my life, Malcolm Nair, to realize our dream of opening a yoga studio, Earth Yoga Studio. Our vision is to bring the community together through sustainable living and holistic lifestyle.”
Malcolm Nair – Founder of Earth Office
Malcolm loves the outdoors and is well known for his green thumb. He’s currently studying to become a botanist, and you will often find him coming up with new ideas to improve gardening techniques and feeding the world.
Malcolm also keeps himself busy designing and developing websites.
In his spare time he practices yoga and parkour (free-running). He also cooks a mean curry and will keep you entertained with random facts for hours.
