Kevin discovered yoga in 2008 after starting a career in graphic design. He realized that the stress of the modern world needed to be balanced out. Yoga really fulfilled that need.
Kevin completed his Hatha yoga teacher training with Taryn Herselman at Shakti Yoga Centre. He completed his Aerial Yoga teacher training with Carly Bowden and Julie Swart, becoming part of the first teachers trained in Aerial Yoga in South Africa. Kevin teaches Aerial yoga at the original Aerial Yoga studio as well as at Shakti Yoga Centre and leads floor based classes at Melrose Arch Virgin Active. He also teaches private classes.
Kevin leads a conscious, powerful, breath-focused and energetic class. In his classes, students learn to embrace their divine true self and to respect the body they have been blessed with. Kevin believes that through the practice of yoga, people can connect, let go and take time to get to know their physical bodies. At the same time enjoy a fun and challenging workout.
