Izelle Nair is leading a weekend of workshops, covering the basics of yoga and meditation. This course is designed to get you going on this epic journey of discovering Self. Learn about your body, your mind, and be at peace as you combine the two in movement and stillness.
MEDITATION SATURDAY
14 JANUARY 2017
12pm – 3pm
During this mindfulness workshop learn different meditation techniques and how to un-identify with the contents of your mind. Learn the tools to manage your stress and increase your emotional intelligence.
We will take a look at meditation from a scientific point of view and discuss some of the important research done in neuroplasticity. We will also look at meditation from a more Eastern perspective and plant the seeds of compassion.
YOGA SUNDAY
15 JANUARY 2017
11am – 2pm
In this session we will cover basic breathing techniques and basic yoga postures. Learn how to practice these techniques safely and inquire where your limits are. After this session you will feel confident to keep practicing at home or join a class. You will have a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy. You will have a deeper understanding of your body and Self.
