Begin Yoga May Workshop

Many people are referred to yoga by their doctor due to injury or illness.  Some seek relief from stress and trauma.  Others want to do yoga to get strong, fit and flexible.  Whatever your reason for wanting to begin yoga, this workshop is the first step.

Join Izelle Nair and learn the basic philosophy, postures, breathing techniques and meditation techniques.  Understand the difference between Hatha and Vinyasa (flow) yoga classes.  Learn why yoga is referred to as a science and how it can be used to heal your body, mind and spirit.  Observe and study your Self and see what is getting in the way of living your life to your full potential.

In this Begin Yoga Workshop we will cover:

Saturday 5 May 12pm – 2:30pm:

Basic Philosophy and History
Hatha Yoga
Yoga Nidra (Conscious sleeping)

Sunday 6 May 9:30m – 12pm:

Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga
Meditation

R500 for both days or R300 for one.

After years of working in corporate and living a stressful and very unhealthy lifestyle, Izelle walked into a yoga class one day and realized there is another way of being.  Slowly over time she managed to change her lifestyle and finally plucked up the courage to study yoga.  Now, 10 years later she’s the owner of Earth Yoga Studio, with a regular yoga practice and a beautiful family that loves yoga too. She teaches many different styles including Hatha Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Budokon Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Sky Yoga, Kids Yoga as well as Pregnancy Yoga.
